This old goldrush seems so much more enjoyable and relaxed. I bought it recently based on this and it's a stressfull nightmare. The season is just 37 days long and that contains mostly frozen ground, rain, storms, snow and midnights. Taking any sort of time to handle overburden and make nice ramps seem impossible when you struggle to even cover any sort of progress. Not to mention the ass-backwards bank loans you get lured into. With employees now not giving a squat to your gold total you end up needing to push it hard every day just to make sure you can cover wages or they all leave.
